The Success Behind
RODA Car Rental was launched in 1998 by Mr. Eugene Cheng, the General Manager and Managing Director, a graduate in Marketing and Finance from the University of Oregon, USA. He started his career in car rental as Station Manager with Thrifty Car Rental, San Francisco, California prior to his return to Malaysia. In 1991, He joined Sintat Rent-A-Car (Thrifty Car Rental licensee in Malaysia) as Operation Manager and then moved on to Mansfield Car Rental (MCR) as General Manager.
During his tenure in Mansfield, he succeeded in leading MCR into a leading car rental company showing positive cash flow and operating profits. A specialist with over 12 years experience in the Car Rental Industry, Mr. Eugene gained confidence from his success in turning around the company, and decided to venture into the car rental business on his own and started RODA Car Rental. He was then elected to the Honorary Secretary of the Car Rental Association Malaysia. (1996-1998).
Today, Mr. Eugene Cheng has formed dedicated professional team that are able to respond at speed, supplying the vehicle of your choice with flexibility, efficiency, convenience and value for money readily available to meet your every need.
